The daily ritual.
That is the product.

PulseScore is not a dashboard you check occasionally. It is a daily practice that compounds over time. Players give 90 seconds. Coaches get certainty. The longer it runs, the more valuable it becomes.

After three weeks, baselines are established. After eight weeks, patterns emerge. After a season, you have a longitudinal record of your squad's communication, readiness, and resilience that no fitness test can replicate.

1
Morning temperature
Three sliders. Sleep, body, readiness. 30 seconds. The honest start to the day — no performance, no audience.
2
Coach sets the purpose
Before every session, the coach records the deliberate practice intention. Players respond with a voice note. PulseScore analyses the tone.
3
Post-session close
Three sliders. Purpose execution, edge pushed, physical cost. Twenty seconds. The loop is closed before the changing room empties.
4
Evening honest reflection
Nutrition, effort, mood. A private voice note if they want it. The day is not done until the books are closed.
"Every honest check-in is a deposit. They compound over time into something unshakeable."
PulseScore
core principle

Built on 30 years of sports science.
Made to actually use.

PulseScore's check-in dimensions are derived from the Hooper Index — the gold standard in athlete wellness monitoring, used across professional football, rugby, basketball, and swimming since 1995.

The post-session reflection framework is grounded in Ericsson's deliberate practice research. We did not invent these questions. We made them something athletes actually complete.

Subjective self-report measures presented superior sensitivity and consistency compared to objective measures including heart rate variability and creatine kinase.
Saw et al., British Journal of Sports Medicine, 2016
The most validated single-item measures in team sport: muscle soreness, fatigue, sleep quality, stress, and mood — each used across 20+ published studies.
PMC Systematic Review, 2020 — 21 studies, team sport athletes
Sleep
Quality, not quantity. The single strongest predictor of next-day readiness in elite sport.
Soreness
Delayed onset muscle soreness as a load indicator. Correlates directly with training volume.
Fatigue
Perceived energy level. Tracks cumulative load better than any objective measure.
Stress
Life stressors outside sport. The dimension most coaches never ask about.
Mood
Psychological state. The leading indicator of motivation collapse and disengagement.
Voice tone
How they say it, not just what they say. The proprietary signal we built on top of the validated five.
